HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS -http://click.dealshark.com, https://s3.amazonaws.com, http://onlinewebfind.com. These keep hijacking, but Malwarebytes/No Script stops them from loading, but not redirecting me. I've tried running Malware bytes,a few tuimes, now it's telling me it's "clean" and tried Hitman Pro, which detected it,but also says it's "clean" but,I am NOT tech savvy, which blows.I've cleared up any suspicious extensions and restarted. Is there any legal way to have these guys who make these things killed ?It would help MILLIONS. Please if you have a way to get rid of this, explain it to me like a 3 year old, please. Thanx

Two stages.

  • The First is to scan with multiple and up-to-date tools because nothing catches everything.
  • The second is to clean up. There is a handy Firefox extension that does most of that for you. It installs, runs and uninstalls itself, as mentioned below. Just try to get rid of all the rogue software first of all.

You must be more knowledgeable than some if you have already found Malwarebytes and no-script.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

You need to use multiple and up-to-date tools as they will not all pick up the same things.

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good FREE permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
