Firefox is suddenly blocking a website for security reasons. It is a website I trust and was using at the time.
I was moving around the website and suddenly a popup came up saying there was a problem, apparently with the DNS. I clicked on "override" and "I understand the risk" but Firefox still blocked the site. I spent hours trying to go through the different "solutions" until I found one that said to go into about:config and change the setting for "network.dns.disablePrefetch", which I did. After that, the website would work again.
This morning, the site would not come up again, but I checked with "isitdownrightnow" and said it said was working. I checked the "nework..." and my change was still there. I checked the IVp6 and the website said the IVp4 was "good," but the IVp6 was "bad."
So I checked "Tools," "options", 'Advanced", "certificates", "servers" and "exceptions" and got the same view as the popup yesterday. I entered the site's address, "xyz.com" and the "override" would not respond.
I flushed my computer dns cache to be sure I wasn't still suffering from yesterday's problem, still no results. I am at a loss as to what to do next. Using Windows 7 with a broadband ISP. The site does open on Windows Internet Explorer. Can anyone please help?

Could you describe the error screen in more detail? I do not think the built-in screen uses the word Override, so this could be a feature of an add-on or external software.
If it's easier to post a screen shot, this article has tips on that: How do I create a screenshot of my problem?
You can also try safe mode with networking to see if a AV or firewall is blocking web access.
