Find tab will not open in FF25
After installing FF25 the find tab will not open. Cntrl +F or F3 does not open any find tab. Click on edit, scroll down to Find, click; nothing. Even downloaded FindBar Tweak to no avail. Using Win Vista.
Thanks in advance.

If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit)
- If you have many extensions then first enable half of the extensions to test which half has the problem.
- Continue to divide the bad half that still has the issue until you find which one is causing it.
You also check for issues with other find related extensions like FindBar Tweak 1.4.13

hello Fall0uT, this might be caused by the find all extension, that you have installed.
I wish that it was philipp, it was doing it before the extension was added too.
ok, i was just basing this assumption on a report from another users a few minutes ago: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/971806#answer-497599
as a general troubleshooting procedure, can you try to launch firefox in safemode once and see if the issue is reproducible there too?

I thought I may have missed a step; started in safe mode and now the Find feature works. FasterFox recently updated as well, wonder if that may be the culprit?
Any suggestions?

Only disabled two extensions and found the problem.
It was "Find All 3.5" And after going to the web-site I now see that it is only compatible with FF 13-24.
Mystery solved.
Thanks philipp and cor-el.
