hello, according to norton the toolbar is already compatible with firefox 23. please run the norton liveupdate repeatedly & until all components are up-to-date. in addition make sure that the toolbar is enabled under firefox > addons > extension afterwards.

Please note that even without the toolbar your norton is still running in the background.

The earlier versions of Firefox for Mac had the Norton Toolbar. Why doesn't Firefox 23 for Mac have the toolbar? Is it because Firefox 23 for Mac is still in beta and not in the final version?

firefox 23 is the final version of firefox which got released today. in order to obtain the toolbar from norton that works with the currently released firefox version, please refer to my prior answer.
