For some reason after I shut my computer down one time, Mozilla Firefox started doing something really annoying. When I logged back on and opened firefox this is how the URL read: "https://www.google.c". Where the "c" was cut off half way through. If I click the address and drag the mouse slowly to the right, the text scrolls to reveal more and more of the URL. I want to see the whole URL and I want it to actually display in the empty space that the address bar provides.

I have also tried to turn the "trim.URLS" to false and that hasn't resolved the problem.
