Can't find where the automated suggestions for misspelled words can be edited, and yes I googled it.
I typed "vrey" and "very" wasn't suggested. Really? It's something I thought would be easy to find in the options but it isn't for some reason, maybe I'm blind.

Unfortunately you can't add corrections for words that you misspell regularly with the Firefox spellchecker.
If Firefox doesn't offer the correct entry in the right-click context menu then there is not much that you can do.
You can only use persdict.dat (Add to Dictionary) to add words to it that are correct, but that are not present in the currently selected dictionary.

See in Options window > Advanced panel > General tab > Browsing > Check my spelling as I type [v].

Unfortunately that doesn't help. I need to edit the list of words that show up when you right click (context menu) a misspelled word with a little squiggly red line underneath it. I don't see that option any where.
- Add a dictionary
- go to the Firefox Add-ons page --> https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/
- on the Add-ons page, click "More..." just under the large type "Add-ons" and choose "Dictionaries and Language Packs"
- find the language and click "Install Dictionary" on that line
- Adding words to your personal dictionary

Ok but... HOW DO YOU EDIT IT? Dang man.
Checked all links, did as you asked. Still not solved.
It really seems like that paragraph would have solved my problem but somehow it didn't.
To clarify: I am mad at the situation, not at you. Thanks for replying. Second, editing persdict.txt will in no way help me, I have seen the purpose of that file now.
P.S. Thanks for the link to update plugins. I love being up to date!

Thanks that was the exact information I needed. Will be submitting this idea to FF suggestion box right now!
