I recently uninstalled Firefox because I was having some issues. I would like to reinstall it, but when I click on the green download button, no window ever pops up to click on "run"- where is it?

Recently I uninstalled Firefox from my desktop. Somehow, I ended up with beaucoup add-ons, etc, and it slowed everything down. I tried to go in under add-on manager, and couldn't get it to open. So I decided to uninstall Firefox, then start over. I tried, then, to reinstall Firefox, but when I clicked on the green download button from the Mozilla home page, I never got the window that I need to click "run". Not sure what's up.

I tried your link- it took me to the same page that I got to just punching in Mozilla.com. I clicked on the green download button, but I only got a screen that tells me "Thank you for downloading Firefox", and to click run to get started. However, the box that has the run button in it never pops up. Plus, I go under my programs, and Firefox isn't there. It's acting like it downloaded, but it didn't.

It could be that the site is trying to determine your location to enable downloading from nearest to your location. So sometimes the download confirmation box may take some time to appear.

You can also try this direct link: http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/9.0.1/win32/en-US/ Firefox Setup 9.0.1.exe is the file. This is the US English version. To look for other versions, click Parent Directory to traverse back.
