Since the last update (9.0.1) every time you reboot or turn off the computer (Mac OSX 10.7.2) Firefox opens without any way to stop them ... In the dock / options / open when logging is disabled, in System Preferences / Users and Groups / start, there is nothing ... Boxes of "Return to open the windows to restart the session" and "Restore windows to close and reopen applications" turned off; reboot or turn off when I log in Firefox opens without any way to stop them ...

PS. Uninstalling (what to delete all associated files seemed the most viable solution despite losing the extensions, bookmarks, settings ...) after restarting I downloaded the installer from the Mozilla website to reinstall and say no was very pleasantly surprised when I take after re-start from scratch ... no extension without add-ons, all by default but ... Firefox opens without any way to stop them ... I don't know, what will be the reason? The problem persists since update to version 9.0.1 Thanks and happy new year...i'm from Spain...

Solved " wasn't the operating system or browser, effectively the problem was related to logging...but it was the fault of another app "Popclip" (v1.2.2), the most recent update (v1.2.3) fixes the error

I don't know if I understand the problem ... maybe you can explain it better? As best I can figure, Firefox starts up every time you restart the computer? The rest .... you lost me.

In case it helps, you could uninstall Firefox - see Uninstall Firefox from your computer and also http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_Firefox#On_Mac_OS_X

Once that's done you can download and install a new copy of Firefox from mozilla.org/firefox - see How to download and install Firefox on Mac for more help.

Check if you have firefox in the login list.

Go into System Preferences then click on Accounts then go to the Login Items tab and click the "-" to remove (firefox) or whatever apps you want when you start up mac.

thank you
