After downloading the latest version, I have lost the familiar opening page, and bookmarks is not shown. How can I restore the old opening Firefox page? At the moment I cannot navigate at all.
The Firefox window is not shown at the top of the page. Consequently there is no Tools menu I cannot say what version of Firefox I have downloaded as 'about Firefox' is not shown. I downloaded it last week so I presume it must be the 6.02

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Full Screen mode with all toolbars hidden.
- Press F11 to toggle full screen mode (Firefox/File > Full Screen)
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
