PROBLEM ONLY OCCURS IN FIREFOX Gmail currently works fine in standard view on Opera browser BUT on Firefox 5 and then on Firefox 6.0.2, will not work in standard view. Have to use Gmail in basic HTML.

ERROR MESSAGE reads: "JavaScript must be enabled in order for you to use Gmail in standard view. However, it seems JavaScript is either disabled or not supported by your browser. To use standard view, enable JavaScript by changing your browser options, then try again. To use Gmail's basic HTML view, which does not require JavaScript, click here. If you want to view Gmail on a mobile phone or similar device click here."

Since Gmail works well in Opera, the problem has to be w/ Firefox Gmail interface. Please advise. Thanks.

P.S. Am getting Java error message in other Google-related accounts --"You may not get the full functionality of this product because JavaScript is either disabled or not supported by your browser." So, it's all Google account related Java in Firefox that is the problem!
