Their instructions say to go to the Firefox toolbar, but the toolbar is no longer visible on the screen. The address bar is now at the top of the screen, immediately below the Infoaxe logo line. There is no Firefox logo, nor any other tab to click on. The only Firefox tab on the screen is the Help tab.

Do you have the orange Firefox button? That has part of the menu on it, but to restore the classic menu bar: tap the Alt key and use

View > Toolbars > Menu Bar

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with the toolbar.

To uninstall, Go to Tools->Addons->Infoaxe Firefox Toolbar. Now click on uninstall and restart your browser.

You can reset your browser homepage by going to Tools -> Options in Firefox and Tools -> Internet Options in Internet Explorer.

If you still have issues, please look for one of the following "Internet Explorer Infoaxe Toolbar" or "Web History Search Toolbar" in Control Panel and uninstall it. If you can't find any of these, please go to C:\Program Files\ and delete the infoaxe or webhistorysearch folder.

Please email support@infoaxe.com if you have any questions.

I have also tried the following but this also did not work.

To change Firefox address bar search to google search do as follows:-

1. At Firefox address bar, enter about:config and press ENTER.

2. At Filter: field, type keyword.url

3. You should see a Preference name of keyword.URL in the list. Double click it, Enter String Value input box will appear.

4. Replace the string with: http://www.google.com.my/search?q= 5. Click OK button and you are done!

If you want to set Firefox address bar search to Google's "I'm feeling Lucky":

1. Type about:config in Firefox location bar and pressEnter.

2. Type keyword in Filter textbox and you will see only the preference keyword.URL.

3. Double-click on keyword.URL and change the value to: http://www.google.com/search?btnI=I%27m+Feeling+Lucky&q=

@wicko, does Infoaxe still show up under your installed extensions?

Tools > Add-ons > Extensions category

If it can't be removed from there, perhaps it can be disabled there. Does that make any difference?

Do the Following when u cant uninstall the damn software as instructed on their website...

Enable Hidden Files in ur Windows.. Then Search for Infoaxe

U ll get lots of files in the "C:\Users\******\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles" directory..
