Download new version cannot be completed because I do not have sufficient priviledges for some of the items
I have a Mac OS X. I am trying to download the new version of Firefox. When I try to move the icon into my applications, I am asked if I want to replace the existing version, I click yes. Then I get the following message: The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient priviledges for some of the items.

I had the same problem on my work computer, although not on my home computer. I had to trash the old Firefox application, then drag the new one into the application folder.
If you have Mac OS X 10.4 or newer then do this:
- Download a new copy of the Firefox program: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
- Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install.
- Install the new version that you have downloaded.
