Kuphostiwe

Hello,

Updated via "Check for updates" to latest version. Further check indicates program is up to date and no update available. However, "About Mozilla Firefox" shows version 3.6.13, Plain confusing. Edit: (Please note, it applies to laptop and NOT the system used to post this issue.)

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

If you had posted from the laptop the System information provided may have helped. You could have some long forgotten plugin or other software that is affecting the laptop, or it could be malware.

Have a look at Websites say that Firefox is outdated or incompatible even though it's the latest version and the information about checking and resetting the user agent string.
