Popups blocked on Yahoo. When I close Firefox there is a background advertisement on screen that has been hiding. How do I eliminate this without having to click again to remove?

Annoying advertisement/request is hiding behind my Yahoo home page. I have popup block on Firefox options for Yahoo Perhaps this is a Yahoo issue? But resides in FF browser.

Use File > Exit Firefox to close all open windows at once.

File > exit is the right answer, instead of exiting from the top corner X. Thank you
