Try running Firefox in safe mode. If that fixes the issue, see if Norton installed any extension or plugin against your consent. If it did, disable it (that should fix the issue).

Try running Firefox in safe mode. If that fixes the issue, see if Norton installed any extension or plugin against your consent. If it did, disable it (that should fix the issue).

Same problem! Sadly I just updated my Norton 360 to v4 and Firefox became very unstable. I was using Firefox 4b9, and thought perhaps it was some instability with Firefox. So I uninstalled firefox 4 and reinstalled 3.6.13. The exact problem still exists. So I ran Firefox in safe mode - no change!! It seems I am off Firefox unless I can roll back my Norton 360 'upgrade'.
