I have Thunderbird v115.5.1 and i have no print option available and nowhere to configure a printer. When i hit the PRINT button, my only option is to Save To PDF. I have looked for a Tools option to set up a printer, but there are no options in my GUI

Thanks for the help.

Hey Terry,

First off, ensure your printer is properly connected and recognized by your computer's operating system.

Next, try these steps: Restart Thunderbird: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve minor glitches. Check Thunderbird's printer settings: Go to Thunderbird's preferences or settings menu (usually found under the "Tools" or "Preferences" tab), and look for anything related to printing or printers. Ensure that the correct printer is selected. Update Thunderbird: Make sure you're using the latest version of Thunderbird, as updates often include bug fixes and improvements. Check your system's printer settings: Sometimes, Thunderbird may rely on your operating system's printer settings. Ensure that your printer is properly configured in your computer's settings.

If none of these steps work, it might be worth reinstalling Thunderbird or seeking further assistance from Thunderbird support forums or documentation.

As a final suggestion, try printing a test page from another application to see if the issue is specific to Thunderbird or if it's a broader printer recognition issue.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need further assistance.

TB should automatically choose the system default printer or the last printer used. If you Help/Troubleshooting Info, 'Clear saved print settings' (bottom of tab), then restart TB, is the default printer selected?

I did as you suggested but no printer setup option shows up after re booting TB. That’s the issue.. there is no option to set up a printer in TB.
