bold text I can't find how to write an email in Thunderbird. The new interface is WORSE that previous and IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN BAD.

It is a very bad sign that I have to find my password and log into Firefox to tell you that the email service on Thunderbird SUCKS.

Maybe if I GOOGLE looking for an answer someone will post directions how to use your product.

I see a lots of rather meaningless images attached to this posting. Do they have some function here I missed?

Personally I use the big blue button that says New Message because I am trying to get used to this new and somewhat unwieldy interface.

If for some reason you have the folder pane header turned off you obviously will not see this button in that header. So turn it on using the menu > view > folders

Or you could right click the toolbar at the top of the window, select customize and drag the write button onto that toolbar. I customized mine to add that and a get massages button.
