It's my turn in the bucket. Thunderbird keeps asking for my password and then rejects it. I tried changing passwords, uninstalling Thunderbird and reinstalling, verified my settings and still this is an issue. I've looked at what others have tried, but none of it works. Help please, I don't like the Outlook platform.

Got to this link in outlook/Live/hotmail https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/options/mail/accounts

You will be shown "your" IMAP POP and SMTP settings. While what is there is fairly generic, and those used in Thunderbird are downloaded from here https://autoconfig.thunderbird.net/v1.1/hotmail.com due to that. Certain folk do have unique settings due to their specific subscription. So check against the live web site as a first step.

Thanks. Oddly enough, I opened T'Bird this morning to work on it, and everything is working as it should before I did anything. Go Figure. I'll save this though in case it pops up again. Thanks!
