A "COPY" of my SENT email does not always go to my SENT FOLDER. Sometimes it does ... sometimes it does not. Very frustrating. Not sure if it was SENT. I BLIND COPY myself and receive the email in my IN BOX ... but that is not acceptable. HELP!
Tell me how to fix this.
Is it your end?
Thunderbird problem?
Thanks!!

By 'other' I assume you mean to local folder? If you feel this is fixed, at least for now, please mark the thread closed. I was glad to help.

Please share more information. POP? IMAP? Email provider? Possibly a screenshot of your account>copies&folders pane? No guarantees, but some information is needed to provide some ideas.
Comcast ISP
“When sending messages, automatically:”
“Place a copy in:”
“Sent” Folder on: “Local Folders”
or …
“Other” “Sent on Local Folders”
Originally was defaulted to “Other” choice.
Changed to “Sent” choice.
Sent a test message using both selections and worked.
As previously stated … it is a random problem that a “copy” is not placed in my Sent Folder.
Thanks!
I suggest you pick one and keep it. Some IMAP accounts have network issues and, with IMAP, the message must be sent twice: once to the recipient and once to the online sent folder. If the problem is persistent, an option might be to set for local folder storage. That would eliminate the network transmission issue. Where do you have it set now? And, do you receive any warning messages that sent message is being delayed?
Quick response!!
Email account was setup by Comcast several years ago.
Guess IMAP can have hiccups?
Sticking with "Other". Not sending every SENT message twice.
Problem just stared happening a week or so ago.
No warning messages.
Thanks!!!!
