Document composed in WORD uses info form several sources. Single space text in WORD document becomes double space in TBIRD. I didn't used to have this problem so either Tbird or WORD update made a change that caused this. Has turned a 5 minute job into 30 minutes to hunt how to fix or retype text and insert tables.

My first thought is to check whether you're posting unformatted and what your setting is at tools>preferences>composition for setting of paragraph format under topic of HTML STYLE. My guess is one of those may be causing your problem.
