When I start Thunderbird it asks me to make a new account and none of my existing accounts are visible.
Hello, this morning I started Thunderbird as usual, and it did not load my emails and check for new ones. It asks me to Set Up an Existing Email Account as if it were a new installation and none of my existing accounts are visible.
I can see what I presume are the most recent in box etc under the profile
C:\Users\Rildon\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\enbbe6vv.default
but how to make Thunderbird see the account(s) I already have been using ?
I searched the help database but wasn't sure which words to search for.
Thanks for any help
Peter

Thanks Matt, but it still asks me to make a new account even after setting the profile.
Is there a max size ? I have Imapmail at 59 GB and Mail at 9.96 GB
Thanks
Peter
I have the same problem and need to access my accounts a.s.a.p. Thunderbird has been working fine for years, but now, all of the sudden, all my three email accounts and folders have disappeared and asks "set up your existing email address". From "About Profiles" I have tried to restart with "Add ons" or "Normally", but nothing happens except it keeps asking for a new set-up. I cannot be without my email accounts and I would be most obliged for an answer to resolve this issue. Many thanks
