I need to use Safari for a particular website. With firefox set as default it won't let me use Safari. I can't find a means of removing firefox as my default browser. I would like to be able to switch it back afterwards.

THank you............

Is it for only one or so websites? If so you could use shortcuts on your desktop. Or place them in a folder for easy access. Example: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox_Current\firefox.exe" https://www.weatherbug.com

Note the use of the quotation marks above.

Note that the OP is using a Mac.

Can you elaborate and give more detail on why you need to switch the default browser ?

The default browser only applies to links you open in an external application (e.g. by clicking a link in an email). You can always copy a link to the clipboard and paste this link directly in the location bar of a specific browser.
