Folders gone missing when reinstalled thunderbird on one account only the other accounts have their folders please advise how to get back

I was having a problem with 1 account on email setup so uninstalled thunderbird and reinstalled , every thing was good on all accounts except one (1) none of the folders have loaded , Talked to my web host (aussiebroadband.com.au) and they could not help told me to contact thunderbird and get access to their local server?? I thought all e-mails and folders were held by host webmail. Please advise how to fix this problem as I have a few important emails in my folders Thanks & Regards for any assistance Geoff

If the account is IMAP, right-click the account in the Folder Pane, Subscribe, Refresh, and check (subscribe) the missing folders.

If it is a POP account, you can probably point TB to the previous setup by browsing to the Local Directory with the folders:

In order for us to better investigate this issue, we'll need some more information.

Could you please do the following?

  1. Open the menu Fx57Menu > Help > Troubleshooting Information, then click Copy text to Clipboard.
  2. Go to https://pastebin.com, paste the info from your Troubleshooting Information page, use the Create New Paste button to create a page containing your info, then copy the resulting URL (address) of the page created.
  3. Open a reply to this post, and paste the link to your troubleshooting information you just copied.
