In the previous version of Firefox Beta for Android downloaded from Google Play Store, I could toggle the esni option to true, under about:config. Now this version 85.0.0-beta.2 the option is removed. I have enabled trr.mode to level 3, also the trr uri is unchanged and using Mozilla Cloudflare DNS. But when I use Cloudflares ESNI checker, Firefox Beta fails the ESNI test. Why was this option the network security esni mode? Or is under a different name? This issue is also present in the Firefox Nightly Build for Android from Google Play Store.

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

Hi

About:config is not as powerful in Firefox for Android as it is on desktop. The DNS orver HTTPS settings are not as complete and will not work as well as they do on the desktop version of Firefox at this time.

If you see this Seburo or anyone, I would be interested do you know if there is an alternative or some other measure taken by the Firefox team?
