Left shift not working with new private window shortcut

For some reason the shortcut ctrl + shift + p does not work when I use the left ctrl and left shift keys on my keyboard. If I use a right ctrl or right shift or both then the shortcut works. My left shift and ctrl keys both work. In fact other shortcuts in firefox such as reopen closed windows (ctrl + shift + n) works with the left keys. I have no issues opening private windows with the key combo in chrome so is this an issue/bug in firefox? Or is it a fault with my keyboard? Any help is much appreciated
