Firefox was running slow so it asked if I wanted to "restore." Little did I know that meant it would ask me to "sign up/sign in" to a firefox account and give me a blank slate. By blank slate I mean all of my bookmarks are gone including the ones I use across the toolbar to access information to WRITE MY BOOK. How can firefox not warn me of this and then make it so difficult to get it back? All these tech guys think they have everything figured out...Anyways, I read numerous articles and fallowed step by step and it simply won't allow me to "restore" the folder I found containing my bookmarks ( inside the OLD firefox Data folder that is now sitting on my desktop. Please help. It jsut says unable to process backup file. It also doesnt let me click on the folder. it says open the folder and reveals individual bookmarks which then can be opened but it still just says unable to process.
