Thunderbird 68 with latest updates was working perfectly. After program updated to 78.4 it will no longer launch and gives the side by side configuration incorrect error in a message box. I have replaced the C++, runtime files with no improvement. Where do I go from here? Can I try to reinstall ver 68 or ver 78? I don't want to lose the years of stored emails that depend on Thunderbird for access.
