I need to setup a desktop with 4 different languages. All of this works for other browser except for Firefox. I have installed Firefox Quantum 68.9 ESR and trying to use group policy. I have multiple policies associated with groups and languages. How do I perform this with Firefox? Additionally, do I need to install language pack? Thanks

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

I've moved the thread to Firefox for Enterprise as that is a more appropriate forum for this question.

If you want to install multiple languages for the user interface then you need language packs.
Note that this is different than a dictionary for spell checking.

hello richard.hussain,

Switch Firefox to another language

You can switch languages at any time to display Firefox menus, notifications and messages in a different language. .

     # Click the menu button Fx57Menu and select Options.
    # In the Language section of the General panel, choose a language in the drop-down menu.
    # Restart Firefox.

To add languages, see the next section.

Follow these steps to add more languages to Firefox.

* Click the menu button Menu and select Options.
* In the Language section of the General panel, click Search for more languages in the drop-down menu.
* Click Select more languages to add and choose the languages you want to add, then click the Add button.
* Use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change the order or Remove to remove a language from the list.
* Click OK to save your changes.

Set an order of preference for languages

If a Firefox feature is not available in your top language, Firefox will display your next preferred language.

  1. Click the menu button Fx57Menu and select Options.
  2. In the Language section, click Set Alternatives to open the Firefox Language Settings window.
  3. Select a language and use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change the order or Remove to remove a language from the list.

Thank you!

Thanks Arman, I am trying to find a policy setting to automatically set this up for thousands of users.
