I can not change any of my Account settings when I follow the steps to go change i'm told that account allready exists.
I'm trying to change from pop3 to imap on my AT&T server for incoming mail. Apr 20th I got a bunch of mail and now All the downloads is the last successful mail I recieved. So, I went to options and tried to make changes to Imap. every time the account stats come up a try to select the one I want and it says this account already exists. and I can't change a thing. do I need to reinstall Thunderbird. I'm on build 68 now

You can't change from POP to IMAP just by changing the settings - add the account from File/New/Existing Mail Account and enter IMAP settings. Before you do that, change the Account Name of the existing POP account in your picture to something distinct besides the email address, e.g. pappyoPOP. Next, change the name of the account just above Outgoing Server (SMTP) in the left pane back to its original name, Local Folders. Restart TB and add your account as IMAP.
