mails show recieved/sent datetime incorrecrly on server when they show correctly on Thunderbird

more options

I setup Thunderbird for connect to both my old (Groupwise) and new (Office365) mail server then migrate all inbox and sent items by copy them from old server account to new server account using Thunderbird.

Everything seem to be worked fine when they were viewed on Thinderbird include their recieved/sent date-time but some mails I copy display transferred date-time instead of recieved/sent date-time that is not correct when I view the on server website which is outlook.office.com

It would seem you are saying there is no problem with Thunderbird nor emails etc in Thunderbird. So in that sense, there is nothing wrong.

The problem with the webmail dates maybe to do with how you transfered them. If they were imported directly from server to server it should not have occured, but it would seem outlook server is seeing the manually added emails as new emails - it seems to have reset the “Received” time and date on a message to the migrated date/time rather than use the actual date/time in the email.

I think this maybe a question to ask on the microsoft outlook help forum.

It does not seem to be a timezone/date setting otherwise there would a specific set of hours between time.

On the first time, I also understand that outlook server may seeing the manually added emails as new emails but it is not all the mails (only about 50% of transferred mails) that got this date-time problem. This looked like there are some criteria (that i don't knowwhat is it) which make some dismatch of date+time pattern between Thinderbird and Outlook.
