Set a reminder on an email
A feature I liked in Outlook was that I could set a reminder on a particular email that I needed to respond to by a certain date. Is there such a feature in Thunderbird? And if so, where?
In Outlook I could right click on an email and set a date to remind me I need to deal with this email. I don't see such an option in Thunderbird. Thanks.

While it is not directly linked to the originating email, there is always the option to right click the email in the mail list and "convert" it to a task. THis includes most of the text of the email into the task.

There is the ReminderFox add-on for TB 60, or mailmindr for 60 and a beta version for 68.
Thanks. mailmindr looks like what I'm wanting, but I can't install the latest version from his website because Firefox says it is unsigned. I'll keep looking for when that one works.
I finally figured out how to get mailmindr installed in Thunderbird. It wasn't quite what I was looking for (or I couldn't figure it out). ReminderFox actually looks like what I saw in Outlook. I haven't tried it out yet. Thanks again for the help.
