Hi Rana, Firefox has a new tab button at the right end of the bar, and can open a new tab using the Command+t keyboard shortcut. (There is a preference I'll mention below the line to control whether the new tab opens at the far end of the bar or next to the current tab.) If you prefer an item on the tab context menu, you could find an add-on for that. Add-on commands appear at the bottom of the list, which would be an adjustment, but you might prefer it anyway.
