There used to be a little arrow in the Firefox search bar, enabling me to choose a different search engine, from the default. Now it is gone! Only arrow points to 'history' of last few pages I was on. Only way to change search engines now is to go to options and choose another default! Why is it every time Firefox updates, another useful function is gone? I use many different search engines in many languages daily. This is going to make me drop Firefox and I would really hate that because it's the one I'm most accustomed to.

Once you start typing in the search bar then a drop-down panel should open that shows a bar at the bottom with icons of the available search engine. You see the search engine bar in the location bar drop-down list as well.

Don't you see this panel?

You can use Ctrl+ Up/Down to cycle through the search engines.
