Is the address book in Thunderbird one consolidated file, even if you have several email addresses set up in TB?

I have used TB for email addresses belonging to two different domains. I assumed that each email address has its own address book. I now see that there is only one default Address Book.

Does that mean that it has contacts for all email addresses? If that is so, for GDPR purposes, is my only option to manually split the addresses? Thanks

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

All address books in a profile are accessible by all accounts set up in that profile. If you need to keep some address books or accounts separate, create separate profiles with Profile Manager. The ProfileSwitcher add-on is useful for changing profiles without closing TB.

To start Profile Manager, close TB, Winkey+R, type thunderbird.exe -p
