Hi nanni61, than you for the suggestion. The Windows menu probably shows the the page title of the currently active tab in each window, so if you change tabs in that window, then the menu would need to change order again. Is that what you had in mind?

Here in support, we can't really help with suggested feature changes. You could submit comments and suggestions for feature changes through one or more of the following links, or recently I saw someone created a Change.org petition (no idea whether that helps):

Meanwhile:

It's possible there might be an add-on which creates a Windows button to list the windows in other orders. I haven't searched but if you want to take a look:

I don't want to change the order of the tabs. I think it would be useful to have the possibility to show the list of windows either in alphabetical order or in order of opening.

I don't think it's complicated.

I looked in the extensions but found only add-on that change the order of the tabs.

Sorry, I thought you meant separate windows, not tabs within a single window. (I use MS Windows, so we don't have Windows menu, ironically.) Does the Windows menu list the tabs in each window?

There are numerous add-ons for listing tabs, but I don't know whether any of them sort by title.

I think that in a long past the Windows menu drop-down list used to display the list in alphabetical order and that at with some Firefox version the order changed to the order in which the windows were opened (i.e. newly opened windows are added at the bottom).

I too, had this problem. But: I found a partial solution. You can click and drag the tabs to any order you wish. The problem is the maximum number of tabs - is 12 and excess is the dropdown >>. Does this help?
