my computer says firefox is my browser,but bing comes up on line.
can someone help a old 77 year guy ???????????? i am lucky if i can send an e-mail let alone what ever it is that you want me to do. can we talk on the phone????????????? just let me know what your phone number is & i'll call you.

This forum doesn't provide phone support only forum End User help. To change your default Browser that is done through Windows 7. The browser doesn't change that unless when you first installed firefox and during the install you choose the option "make default" browser and if you didn't choose that then you will have to go through the O/S settings to make the default Browser setting.
If you need more help you will have to post to a Window forum for more help on Windows issue.

Firefox is a web browser and not a website or a search engine. A search Engine is for example Bing.com. Duckduckgo.com, Google.com etc.

The company Mozilla that makes the Firefox web browsers does not provide one on one support by phone, chat, or email. Any products that have one on one support options are usually paid for products.

MOZILLA MAKES FIREFOX & FIREFOX IS MY WEB BROWSER.THEN I DID CHOOSE ( I REMEMBER DOING THAT) BING AS MY SEARCH ENGINE. I JUST GOT MY BROWSER CONFUSED WITH MY SEARCH ENGINE .
THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU AS YOU GET OLDER. YOUR MEMORY COMES & GOES. ALSO ANOTHER THING: ALL "CAPS" ARE EASIER TO READ FOR OLDER "GOATS" LIKE ME
