Ever since Firefox updated, scripts I use to make my life easier don't work anymore. For example, I have a local HTML page in which I can enter the name of a movie, click a JavaScript button, and tabs that search Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other services open up.

I have searches of this sort for other types of media, across search engines with specific criteria set. They save me a ton of time, but they all rely on my browser being able to open up a separate tab for each site being searched.

Is this gone forever in Firefox, or how can I re-enable this in the latest version of the browser? Thanks!

What kinda scripts are they? If they aren't supported in firefox then you would have to contact whom you got the scripts from for more support on their scripts. But if you created the scripts then you might not be able to use them anymore and will have to use the default as is.

It's all Javascript, using window.open commands to open the necessary tabs. They have been supported by Firefox for years, but stopped working with the latest updated, in which only one tab is opened.
