Yahoo Mail required me to install Firefox or Chrome, I chose Firefox and now have "rectangular boxes with number" all over my email, how do I fix this problem?

I had no problem with the "boxes with numbers", until I was forced to download Firefox (or Chrome). I have restarted Firefox, Started it in Safe Mode. Nothing I do seems to resolve the problem. I am currently using Windows 7, is that part of the problem?

You have posted your question in a 'Thunderbird' Support Forum.

Thunderbird is an email client program which you install on your PC. It is used to access and download emails for email addresses so they are visible in one view. It saves you from needing to access various webmail accounts.

'Firefox' is a browser, a tool used to access the internet to view webpages. You use it to access webmail accounts.
