After singn in and sync I lost all passwords ,some of them can't be resset. Any way to get them back ?

Hope you can do something to help me retrieve password I lost when decided to create firefox acc and sync it. After , everything was excellent except my important passwords are missing. They are protonmail password which are not to be resset , otherwise all mail will not be readable. Thank you Klajapasa

Do you have a backup (Time Machine) of the logins.json and key3.db files in the profile folder?

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

You can check if you have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop in case the Refresh feature in Firefox has been used and a new profile has been created.

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.
