It's from Mozilla. I think the way they label them is very poor, the description should tell you what it is for and who it is from.

Mozilla occasionally set up studies to check on things such as how Firefox is used. You can opt out of these studies.

Open up options and select the "Privacy and Security" section Scroll down to "Firefox Data Collection and Use" De-select "Allow Firefox to install and run studies"

I think the studies should be opt-in rather than opt-out
