Mozilla do not offer phone support, that number is not Mozilla

This is the only official support for Firefox.

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? Error messages?

You should also complain to Google about that fake.

Googling that number shows it is someone offering support for many products and companies. It is not somebody from Mozilla.

They likely try to cover a variety of software in their so called tech support besides the desktop Firefox. I would not be surprised if they make use of the knowledge base here for Firefox https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/firefox and the http://kb.mozillazine.org/Knowledge_Base to find answers for your issues at a price.

A search for the phone number shows it being Spammed on variety of forums and such places for so called Microsoft outlook support, AOL mail support, Roadrunner technical Support, Chrome support, HP printer support, Amazon KDP Support, Firefox support, Brother printer, Norton, and on and on.

I have seen so called phone support for one or multiples of above mentioned stuff and other stuff spammed on forums.mozillazine.org. They just spam keywords and a phone number in thread and often with no website in the hopes search engine bots will find that spam with phone#.

In other words they are not a official support for anybody, just a company that hopes to trick people into paying for so called support of insert product.

Mozilla did actually experiment with fee based phone (and email) third-party support in short lived experiments way back in 2003, 2004 and even in 2007 for example. But not since. http://www.mozillazine.org/talkback.html?article=3833 http://www.mozillazine.org/talkback.html?article=4529 http://www.mozillazine.org/talkback.html?article=21670

edit: I knew this phone number seemed familiar as somebody was recently deactivated for spamming this phone# as two threads and in three replies in claiming it was a Official Mozilla support phone#.

Mozilla does not charge for downloads, upgrades or technical support, and does not endorse any company that does. Companies that ask for payment or personal information for installing, updating or providing support for Firefox or Thunderbird are not affiliated with Mozilla and should be avoided.
