Please provide a screenshot taken via the Firefox feature. Too hard to view those being sideways and out of focus.

See this support article. How do I create a screenshot of my problem? It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.

Your Firefox color scheme with dark tab titles on a dark background suggests Firefox has not properly adapted to your system. Could you experiment with the "Light" and "Dark" themes on the Customize panel to see whether either of those gives you more readable results? This article will get you into that function, and the button is at the bottom of the tab:

Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars

On the page content side, it appears you might be using a High Contrast Windows theme? You can set Firefox to ignore that and display pages as their authors intended to see whether that helps. Here's how:

  • Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
  • Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
  • Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
  • Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it

Scroll down a bit to the Language & Appearance section, and click the "Colors" button.

Change the "Override the colors specified by the page with your selections above:" setting to "Never". Then click OK.

Any difference?

I can't take a screenshot using Snippet or Firefox screen shot because the moment I move the cursor away from hovering over an icon or tab of a different website to take the screen shot the problem is not shown. Here is a longer description of the problem...Took 3 more photos and drew black arrow to show problem.

I am on a Windows 8.1 PC, Asus desktop. I have the latest Firefox # 57, this problem happened in a previous version and I thought updating to the new version would solve this annoying problem but it hasn’t. Mango

And your menu bar also is white-on-white, it appears.

Windows 7 has a very different look, so I may need to check on a Windows 10 system for inspiration.
