When I enter a search in the search box I get error message that says, "Secure Connection Failed" and within the body of the error message it says "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading".

Even if I attempt to type the address of google.com in the address bar, I get the same message.

However, if I try any other site in the address bar, I can visit it seamlessly. If I change the search provider used in the search bar, say for example Yahoo or Bing, it works fine, but if I return back to Google as my search engine, the same problem shows up.

Note that when I change my search provider, and enter google.com in the address bar, it works and I can visit the website.

I tried to remove Google from the list of search providers and then added it again, but it didn't work.
