Memory & Jank issues (/questions/1011071 &see998289)
I'm adding this to what I'm assuming is a growing list of users with memory issues. I'm using FF 49.0 on Win10 with 16GB of memory. Firefox will run fine for a while but eventually gets to the threshold of using about 2.9 GB of RAM and then starts to freeze, eventually requiring an "end task" operating in taskmanager. I'm wondering if this has to do with Facebook as I'm usually running that in one tab while keeping 5 or 6 tabs open. I'm not in any way a power using with 75 tabs open at a time. This is a constant problem, the one question on the support page that referred me here was from 2014 and FF 31.0, so obviously the problem hasn't been fixed.
