My firefox is infected by from doc to PDF I've tried reinstalling no go

From doc to PDF appeared as my web page when I reinstalled Adobe Reader. it won't go away, I've selected Firefox as my default . I have also deleted and re installed Adobe and Firefox. I reinstalled Google Chrome and the problem isn't there with that. I'd rather stay with Firefox but it is driving me mad.
