I've tried serveral times to install Silverlight for Mozilla Firefox, but it simply won't install. I've deactivated Silverlight serveral times, restarted, deinstalled, reinstalled, refreshed, removed even the smallest traces I could find but I give up!

Anyone that has an idea on what the cause of my problem is? And how te solve this?

Is this happening with other plugins as well? Firefox does block older versions of Silverlight from loading within a webpage, but not downloads.

Is this happening with other files? What to do if you can't download or save files

Do you have a screenshot of any errors or what happens when you download it form http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlig.../default.aspx

I think that Silverlight shows in the System Detail list next to your question as Version 5.41.3.0, so you likely did succeed in installing Silverlight.

Do you see this plugin listed on the about:plugins page and in ""3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Plugins" (about:addons)?
