I think I have a RAT. There are more "administrators" than just me. How do I detect it?

Some of my email aliases are no longer under my control, there are more system administrators that just me, and my email shows as not secure. Also, I have some items in my email spam folder which have slightly altered email names. When I log on, sometimes it says "logged on" before I even put in my password, and my cursor tracks independently from my mouse for the first few moments. I am older and not near as savvy as younger folks. I tried to get help from yahoo, and they redirected me to some two-bit, third party outfit in a foreign country which kept delaying the actual fix for me. at 15 days in, I deleted their remote access program and stopped payment on the credit card. I may be old, but my nose still works enough to sniff out fishy business. So, I'm high and dry, and nothing has been fixed.

I have followed Mozillas advice, downloaded their recommended malware programs, and nothing is showing up. I would greatly appreciate any advice.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

If your problem is with Thunderbird, let us know and we can move this thread to the Thunderbird queue. This question currently is in the Firefox queue for answers.

If you think someone else has access, change your passwords.
