Installed addons keep opening tabs.
A number of the addons I have regularly open tabs on startup, or soon after starting FF. It's annoying to suddenly have 2/3/4/5 tabs open and load before you can get anything done. Is there some way to stop this behaviour without uninstalling the addons? Adblock is running. Popup stopper is running.

hello, can you be more specific what is showing - are those update notices or some form of adware? in the prior case some addons allow you to switch those off or it might also be a symptom of firefox not being able to save certain preferences: How to fix preferences that won't save
They are "Thanks For Installing...." which tabs usually open the first time you restart FF after adding them on. So addons like Colorful Tabs, Pinterest Button, X-Notifier, YouTube High Definition, do this either every third, or fourth time, FF is opened. It is unusual to open FF and find at least one, if not three, of these open a tab. There doesn't appear to be an option in them to stop this behaviour either under Options, or More. They are useful to me, but if there isn't a resolution I will message the makers about the fault and dump them.
Any ideas about this??
