Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified. What Should I Do?
If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.
I have tried to allow an exception but still cannot get into the site. This IS A TRUSTED SITE. How do I override this problem? New and improved Firefox seems not to be the case anymore. I cannot even save passwords or log in ID's now. I am getting upset and wish I could go back to an older version where I never had these problems.

hi ltjake, that's an error in the setup of the website you have referenced, as they fail to properly lay out the certificate path from their intermediary certificate to the root certificate that is trusted by the browser (you should let the webmaster of the site know).
in order to fix the problem locally, please just visit this site once: https://certs.godaddy.com/repository - afterwards https://estore.thecmp.org should load without errors...

hi ltjake, that's an error in the setup of the website you have referenced, as they fail to properly lay out the certificate path from their intermediary certificate to the root certificate that is trusted by the browser (you should let the webmaster of the site know).
in order to fix the problem locally, please just visit this site once: https://certs.godaddy.com/repository - afterwards https://estore.thecmp.org should load without errors...

Philipp, I have sent them an email regarding the problem but did not see anything on their site (godady) that solved the problem. Thanks.
it should be enough if you just visit the https://certs.godaddy.com/repository site once. this should lead to the intermediate certificate that is missing on estore.thecmp.org being stored in firefox for future use...

Philipp, It worked! Thanks so much for your help. I am not sure what Mozilla did to Firefox starting about a month ago but the new version is not friendly. It won't remember user IDs or passwords, even after I have done everything various posts have suggested but at least, with your help, I was able to finally get to the site I needed. Thanks again.

- Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
- Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB
If you can't inspect the certificate via "I Understand the Risks" then try this:
Open this chrome URI by pasting or typing this URI in the location/address bar to open the "Add Security Exception" window and check the certificate:
- chrome://pippki/content/exceptionDialog.xul
In the location field type/paste the URL of the website
- retrieve the certificate via the "Get certificate" button
- click the "View..." button to inspect the certificate in the Certificate Viewer
Check who is the issuer of the certificate.
You can inspect more details like the certificate chain in Details tab of the Certificate Viewer.
I want a browser that does not make me jump through hoops. When Moxzilla is fixed so these issues no longer are possible, let me know.
