Firefox crashing after resuming from sleep

For the past month or so after resuming my computer from sleep, firefox will crash as soon as I pull it up if it was minimized, or crash immediately if it was the active object before my computer went to sleep. I've tried safe mode, and it didn't work.

Again, try to uninstall Firefox. Then re-download and try Firefox.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

Hardware acceleration has been disabled for a few weeks now, hasn't done a thing for me. I'll try uninstalling.
